he Government of Nepal regulations states that the explosives and accessories need to be stored under the supervision and protection of Nepal Army. Nepal Army provides a platoon of 35 army personnel led by an officer at the Project site Army camp which houses the bunker. Although Nepal Army is an independent organization, the need for co-ordination to facilitate daily blasting at the project site exists so that the construction work runs smoothly
The Army Management team of MMSM will help customers to negotiate an MoU with Nepal Army, get all necessary approvals for the Army to shift to the site army camp and co-ordinate daily blasting arrangements and management. MMSM team has proven time and again that through proper and professional management of the site the blasting works of the project is uninterrupted.
MMSM regularly conducts meetings with Army Personnel at site divisional head offices and at Nepal Army Headquarters to understand any new needs, practices that the army might need. The army personnel at site are kept motivated to provide timely service to the project. There have been very few cases where work at project site has suffered due to poor management of army personnel at site.
